I was born and raised on the small island of Guam. My parents moved there from the Philippines just a couple years after they got married. I come from a family of 4 children. I have two older brothers, Kuya Rodney and Kuya Roel, after them is my sister, Ate Renee, and then me, the youngest of course. Because of the age differences among the the 4 of us, it is only now that I am starting to learn a little bit more about my siblings. One thing I knew from the start though was that I can always count on them.

I remember being very shy and quiet as I was growing up.  It was in high school that I developed my social skills and interest in the sciences. I credit my parents for ultimately teaching me independence and pushing me to strive for my goals.

When I decided to go to Penn State for college I knew it was going to be a challenge being so far away from home. I met Brian towards the end of my Junior year. He was the support I needed to get through the rest of my college years. The time we spent apart was difficult but it only made our love stronger. He is my soul-mate. There is nothing we cannot conquer together....forever.
